I Saw A Very Nice Orange WS6 Trans Am Today In Uniontown...It was a vert...stopped to talk to the guy he was super nice...got to talking some more and the conversation turned into how mustang guys all have attitudes..which got me to thinking...his rite..ive only met a few who doesnt..dustin(orange machine)..Timmy...and Laz But most of us do and why?...lets be truthfully...v6 stangs...suck..there shouldnt even make em thats a smake in the face to any real mustang owner(GT COBRA)..Gts Arnt Great put a few mods on em to make 300hp..lmao..what...thats retarded ws6 come with 340 stock the fomulas come with 300 stock...cobras..the only nice ones are the termi's..so why dont our shi* stink??iam not sure...but i saw some of the comments to the new guy...vette killer..first off greensboro is in green county(close to tims shop)..learn how to read a map

ok well you have not a clue what your talking about when you mention the V6 stangs.....they don't make them to be fast...they make them to SELL cars. mustangs are one of the most popular sport cars becuase of their looks and for the V8's having good bang for the buck. there are millions of teenagers out there whose parents sure as hell don't want them behind the wheel of a V8, therefore go out and buy the V6 stang. same goes for some older people and wives and such...not everyone buys a mustang to "be fast" or whatever you think.

I will bet anything that there are at least twice as many v6 stangs on the streets as there are v8's. mustangs are made for everyone, not just people that are really into cars.

if youre going to "laugh your a$$ off" about people modding mustangs to get 300rwhp and other cars comming with more than that stock, then go buy that other car.....o wait, that car isn't in production anymore because the mustang outsold it.

um ive never had my balls busted on this site? truthfully i think mustang owners are less cocky than any f-body owner, fbody owners buy the cars and then think they own the ****ing road.. gts are nothing special? i know of a certain 89gt with a 383 stroker with twins putting down 14xxhp? seems pretty good to me.. havent seen to many fbodys do that.. if you dont like the people on this site, or our cars, or even your own cobra, sell it, buy a pos ws6, and go somewhere else.. im not trying to be a total dick, but you just made a HUGE ass outta yourself...

yes the trans am is an awesome car but it's also 2-3x more in price to buy then a stang..

not only stang people have attitudes, thats just the type of people you tend to hang around when you have a stang also,so thats all you see. go hang out with the ricers and i bet they talk the same stuff about other 4cyl guys.

as for lou, you should be really kind to him cause he is one of the nicest guys i know and he does take on alot of shit from people on here, and he also runs a shop so he doesnt only have 24hrs like some people to sit on the site and see what people send him pm's about. you understand what im saying here? he doesnt run down on people unless theve done something bad (then they deserve it)....

No..I didnt...ive only met 4people from this site..who have all been nice..iam talking the stang owners..that come outin droves..go to bellvernon..washington..uniontown...south hills at night theres a million of stangs running around ive met over 20 who have been dicks none from the site... my point is why is that?..hell my 01 only has 320 hp stock...i miss my f body t/a..that car could have put my cobra to shame any day of the week ..as for lou i justdont think itsrite to stop someone from selling/buying then not respone whenthey pm you andiam sure his been onin the last week and a half

wow... i dunno what made this come up, but i own both and it only depends on what kind of person owns the car. I hang out with mostly people who have mustangs and i have a camaro and none of them are dicks or anything and same with the f-bodies, i know some great nice people that own those.. Last night there were mustangs and camaros and lightning and diesel trucks and regular trucks and no one was bashing anyone on what they drive. Thats called respect for others. You can say all you want but Rob is right, you can get a mustang gt for alot cheaper than a trans am or camaro and its a great bang for the buck.. If you wanna compare msutang gts to camaro and t/a why not do teh lt1 to a 5.0? They are basically in the same bracket and the lt1 does not have 300hp believe me i know so why not put a bolt-on to bolt-on car against one anotehr and its a drivers race. Put a bolt-on cobra against a bolt-on ls1 and its a drivers race...

AS far as lou goes, he is still one of the nicest guys on this site and i have met and talked with and hung out with him many times and he has gone out of his way a few times to help me out and i would do the same for him, he is a good guy and good friend and if your getting mad at him over an e-site grow the hell up.

my mustangs a v6 and im proud of it...i bought it when i was 17 and its not the fastest thing in the world but i like to cruise around in it.....the exhaust sounds good for a v6 and im happy...thats just it....instead of worrying about what all other stang owners are doing and putting the v6ers down...maybe u should do a gut check n see just what kind of person you are? Thats whats wrong with ppl these days....to worried about what others are doing and not worrying enough about how they present themselves.
maybe also i didnt buy a v8 at the time cuz i couldnt afford it....the insurance was outrageous and i just couldnt swing it...so i did the smart thing and bought what i could afford!!!

As far as lou is concerned....this is by far the best mustang website ive ever come across....the members are helpful and what more could you ask for??

first of all all of your numbers are flywheel horsepower.

and secondly and most importantly, you should probably stop looking at the factory spec sheets for all these cars and comparing them that way. instead, you should find a car you enjoy for your own reasons and buy that car (whether it's a mustang or not). Not everyone goes to buy a mustang thinking "this is gonna be the baddest car on the street." They like them for their own reasons.

Not to offend you at all, but IMO the real ricers are the ones that sit around comparing cars by their factory supposed hp rating and bench race cars and stuch. There are SO many more factors in what makes one car faster than another or better than another besides their hp rating.

I dunno bout the whole Gt's being ass with a few bolt on's. I seem to recall smokeing an LS-1 bottlefed car with my lil bolt on GT with a bottle. (granted the dude is a known dipshit) He wouldn't take a lose and leave it alone I ended up raceing the guy like8-9 times before he left it alone thanks to the help of his maf screen getting sucked in. I have been a chevy guy almost all my life. owned a total of 3 fords now. 1999.5 super duty 7.3(last good diesel done by ford). My 2004 40th special edition mustang Gt. Now, I own a 1992 Gt. I have seen assholes on both sides. I remember one dick doing flyby's in a certain stroe parking lot before I went and raced the ls1. We called him on his stupidty as he could get someone hurt. That and ruin a spot to hang out. I also heard that same nite everyone that worked at Lmm was assholes. Talked to that twit as well.(Was working there then). I have a friend who has bowtie in his blood gives me shit for buying another ford but, hes still my friend. It is the ones with their heads up their ass's who make each crowd look bad. Anyone who owns a car, any make, any model, and is proud of it has my respect. I am a car guy, gearhead, old school or new to the bone. I dont care if its a 4 door , 4 cylinder, Cavalier, if it's what you like and you're proud of it, I will shoot the shit with you anyday. That being said, if you're gonna brag how your 4 door 4 cylinder cavalier can out run my Stang, well.....that's another story. A car does not determine a persons attidude. I know tons of cocky chevy owners. I've met a quite a few people off this site and talk to a bunch more that I haven't met yet and they are all really great people. If you didn't get an answer back from Lou maybe his inbox was full, or he wasn't on...people do have lives outside of the internet.
