    Game 4 - Pens/Rangers

The penguins look like shit out there tonight...

Honestly, Crosby has made more mistakes than i can ever remember him making.... Truthfully, it looks to me like Malkin and Kennedy are only ones playing well tonight... too bad Malkin made a piss-poor attempt on that penalty shot....

    :(

Lets hope for a good 3rd period

Rangers are really showing how desperate they are since they felt it was necessary to push Malkin. What a *****.

I would have rather had a PowerPlay than a penalty shot...

I always feel like that... for some reason i feel more confident on the PP... unless Letang is shooting... lol - he's $-ball

thankfully we had the 3-0 lead so we were able to afford blowing this game...seems like the pens were playing a little laid back prob cause of the 3-0 series lead. hopefully this loss will get us motivated to come out strong in the 5th game.

maybe this is good for the pens... humble them a little and make them work harder

... it seemed like they didn't want it tonight

That penalty shot looked half-hearted, it seemed he shot the puck right at his glove?!?

He almost had him beat, the glove just happen to be there. Malkin isn't a shoot-out type of player.

It was a frustrating game to watch. They were out of sync the whole game and never really looked like they give it there all.

Malkin looked good until the end of the third. Crosby looked intimidated and was DEFINITELY not playing his A-game.

Oh well...they'll wrap it up on Sunday.

I am honestly thinking they blew this game on purpose...i mean think about it....one more game in pittsburgh=alot of revenue. so why not just throw this game and rake in a ton of dough? then we can stomp on them somemore sunday.

Because its not smart to let a desperate team regain any kind of momentum by letting them win.

they looked like total shit last night. they passed like shit, they couldnt hit the net, they took stupid penalties.

malkins penalty shot sucked. he shot right into his glove. it should have been a goal and no penalty shot though. the rangers were the reason the net was knocked off.

they reviewed that play, and unless they didnt' get to see all of the angles, i really thought they made the wrong call...

From the overhead, you couldnt see the puck until after the net was off... however, from the view right behind the net, you could see the puck go off of Malkin's shin and into the net before the net came off... After seeing that view, i really thought they'd give him the goal...

His penalty shot confused me too.... I thought he ususally came in medium speed, swooping and put a move on the goalie... same thing he'd do in game speed, which he's very good at... On the replay's it looked to me like the had the 5 hole open, just went to the wrong place...

I thought Malkin played well... I thought Kennedy played one of the best games he's ever played... he just seemed to be all over the place last night... Staal played reasonably well, other than the open net he missed when he shanked it ...

I think Crosby played horrible... I think Malone has been either really good, or really bad all post-season... Also, in a game like that, i expected to see a little more of Laraque, and i just don't think he played much.... I don't know that the announcers said Robert's more than twice... which is unusual...

Fluery played well also... Rangers could have easily been up by way more than 2 goals... Pens just didnt show up to play last night...

I think NBC had a little to do with this as well. Corsby will be on NBC for the nation to see in game 5. Without a win, NBC would not be able to show the Pens.

I am ok with it overall. I have season tickets and therefore tickets to the game. I would love to see them win the series at home. It was nuts there when they played the other games, can't imagine when they win a series.

you people who think they lost because of television coverage and money they will make with another home game are retarded.

I agree with you on this one, but with all the crooked stuff going on in pro-sports today, not only with players, but with refs also, I wouldn't be surprised.
