Clark, as for the gains on the stg 2 cams, i got them installed when i had full bolt ons, and my full exhaust with shorties an catted x pipe, and i definatly noticed a diff in power, i think it def freed up alot of restricted air, i drove it around for about a month or 2, and didnt get them tuned, and then i had a defective valve spring that snapped in half and blew a valve, piston, and chipped a piece right off of my head. and then i got the full motor rebuild, and the cams def increased the power and it was definatly better with ported an polished heads. if i could go back i wouldnt even do bolt ons except for exhaust until the last things, i would have gone straight for heads an cams, because for full bolt ons i spend about 3-4k and i probably didnt get as much hp as i did with heads and cams. just my 2 cents. what are your future plans with your car anyways?

i am going to make a video tommorrow of a start up of my car so you can hear what the cams sound like, it might be a slightly less diffrent idle on your car depending on exhaust, and of course your engine. but im selling at a flea market tommorrow morning and when i get home i will make one an post it up.

def go with stg 2 cams, or stg3 if your feelin like you need a lil roughness from your pony, but it would be good to upgrade your stall like someone mentioned earlier in this thread. if you decide to build your motor lettme konw ill give you some ideas on pistons etc. cant wait to see what you end up going with man.

if your staying NA you might as well go at least 2. but if there is a slight possibiltity you wont id get stage 1s. I have VT ( now cushmans) stage one cams that i can still run with my KB without losing any boost. if you get a blower with stage 2 cams the valves will stay open too long and boost will blow right though, thus wasting power. plus you dont have to change valve springs with stage ones, and changing valve springs is a PITA
