I know the 05+ Mustangs use a 9008 bulb for the headlights. Anyone know what bulb type the Fog Lights use? I think I'm going to change all 4 out for HID's.

H13's are the 55watt fogs and the H11 (9008) are the headlights.

I was thinking of doing the same, however I can't tell you how many times I get high beamed by on coming vehicles becuase they think I have my high beams on already. I drive at night with my hand on the high beams just waiting to blind someone who flashes my their brights!

thats because the cutoff line for halogens is good, but when you put HID's into a reflector housing (instead of a projector like its meant for) you can get some pretty awful glare - which is why they're flashing their high beams at you.

I love HID's though. I wish there was a good looking projector housing for our cars to put them in.

I dont think my STI had projector housings. It could be that the kit they tested in the video was a crap kit or something. Let me look up some info.

doubtful. Its the unfortunate reality of putting a HID with different light dispersion patterns than a regular halogen bulb into a reflector bucket that isn't designed for it. Different wavelengths of light have different angles of reflection, so the more bluish the light the farther away from the original yellowish wavelength it is (ROYGBV remember?). There are some other things that factor in, but I think thats one of them.

For future reference, the Headlights are H13's and the Driving lights are H10's (9145's). My Lincoln Mark LT uses the same, so I had to buy 2 sets of each.
