Well get some sticky tires on that thing. The mph shows the potential.

Practice will help you get better. Trying to race on street tires is not gonna do you any good too hard not to spin on them. You will have to play around with shift points and launch rpm to get the most out of your car. Just curious what track were you racing at? Do you have any video of your passes?

Just looks like you need some traction. Ride the clutch a little out of the hole and get some good tires. I am not real good with the traction department myself but I am getting better with practice.

Does your car have twin turbos on it?

Hey - if you had fun ( and you KNOW you did ) and you didn't break anything (sounds like you made it home safely ), then it's all good!

With some practice and traction you'll knock an easy second or so off your times. Must be nice living that close to the track!

By the way - the car looks sweet - that TT kit has to be a HOOT!!

Did you go Friday to T&T?
Some Mickey drag radials will help you out big time.
Hopefully I'll have my car finished up soon so I can get out there and race with ya! When's the next time you plan on going?

Not bad for the first time out especially on street tires. What kind of power is your car making? And is your only mod the twins? If so I'd look into suspension hardcore. You have the right attitude, you'll hit the times you want.

That's a crap ton of tq! So you'll need some good tires for sure.

Some basic suspension would help you hook. Lower control arms, drag springs, adjustable shocks/struts. Do some research on what's worked for other people.

If I may recommend, avoid the 50/50 and 90/10 shocks/struts made by Lakewood. My brother used them for one season and his 60' was HORRIBLE. His 60' was a 1.9x with 4.10s and DRs with those. I was pulling better 60' in my camaro with lower gears and a much heavier car. His suspension was just wonky.

Do you have your front sway bar connected? Disconnecting it helps with the 60' too.

Suspension is the most overlooked part of a car. It can make or break you on the track.

Kevin is great to deal with and will do everything in his power to help you get your car to make the power get to the wheels.
