Thanks, I just upgraded last fall with the Canon EOS Digital SLR and I am getting back in the swing of things. A lot differnt than the point and shoot.

Just got your PM. This is perfect I have the same camera!!

What lenses do you have? The kit lens (the 28-55mm) is pretty damn good if you don't need a zoom

I have the same camera also. I bought the kit with the 17-85mm lens and have a few others as well now. I have a 70-300 tele-zoom and a 50mm MkI prime lens. It's really fast and takes great all around tack sharp shots, even in low light conditions. I will probably be stepping up to some Canon L series lenses soon. It's like an addiction. lol

PJ2 you can shoot in RAW or RAW and High quality JPG and do some serious tweeking on the results once you get home. I use a 4GB card and usually shoot tons of photos when I go some place. I use the Canon RAW conversion software. It's very good for being included with the kit.
