WTB(orrow) - fox body exhaust parts

I need to take 4 photographs of my car for registration purposes but I dont have an exhaust put on it yet. I dont want my registration to get denied because they think I have dumps.

Any chance someone has some fox body exhaust parts that I can clamp up, snap some shots, and return?

EDIT - preferably bone stock parts for a 5.0 because of the type of registration im applying for.

I have a rear half of a 2000 exhaust. I can cut off the tips and its yours. Or, I have some fox GT turndowns.

whatever will give the appearance of a stock exhaust would be appreciated. I've heard reports (confirmed by a 2nd source) that the state is being a hardnose about giving out classic tags and I dont want them to have an excuse to turn down my application.

It took me almost two years to get plates on my Fairlane. They finally gave me "collector" plates which denoted on my title that the car was "modified". They wanted to reconstruct my title and I fought them for two long years.
My advice.....find a bone stock year, make model of the car you want classic or antique plates for and send those in. They will fight you on "ANYTHING" that looks or is denoted as non-stock. Even stickers on the windows, wheels, tires, chrome in the engine compartment, etc.

Just my two cents....but I found out the hard way and two long years of fighting......

    Oh yeah...one more thing.
When you take the photos, make sure they are straight on shots of right, left, front, and back. I got mine sent back because you couldnt see the tires on my "front" shot. Whats even worse is that I reshot the photo and they then sent it back and said they couldn't see the "roof" in the new shot. So basically....it's whatever they feel like picking on that day.

thats pretty much what I heard from people. Fortunately the car is 100% bone stock from an exterior point of view (right down to the turbine wheels) so I dont *think* I'll have any problems... well except for the roll bar but since the top has to be up for the shots hopefully that will hide it.

If not, I think I might have to go with your plan.

BTW - Im going for classic tags since the car is over 15 years old, not collector plates. IIRC collector plates have been deprecated and hence no longer available.

no worries... i appreciate you lookin out. I saw a whole exhaust just laying on top of a 99 car at the yard (hacksawed catback lol) but I didnt know if there were fittment issues with a 90 and I didnt want to try and make that fit in my car just to find it wont work.

I still have the rear tail sections off my Mach 1 in the garage, we could probably rig them on there.

my buddy restored an old Jeep Wagoneer (Timmy fabbed up exhaust for it, so he's seen it), it had real wood paneling with flames stained into it, went to get classic plates for it and they denied him for the flames. He fixed it with photoshop, lol...he had no problem.

I'd say if you only have to send pics, photoshop it really well and be done with it
