Anyone see this on the news?

This makes me sick. This is ridiculous. WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT REALIZING THAT IF YOU DO NOT LISTEN TO THE POLICE OR IF YOU PULL A GUN ON ANY MEMBER OF A POLICE FORCE, YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO BE SHOT! but no, its the cops fault for saving his own life....complete and total bullshit, that kid got what he deserved. RIP AULF.

    http://kdka.com/local/man.dog.shooting.2.717471.html

I dont think anyone should lose their life but if you bring it upon yourself, what do you expect?
That video pissed me off even more...seriously im gonna make a huge giant banner that says that and parade around pittsburgh.

this ones even better.....claiming that the officers planted the gun and shot their own dog...yea right you ignorant pricks. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08129...ghborhoods.xml Why is there always a claim of racism or a race issue? FACE THE FACTS: The kid was wrong and the outcome would not have been different had he been white, mexican, russian, canadian, el salvadorean...etc.

I heard all about it and its messed up if you ask me.

A K9 unit is an officer and I heard it is the same thing as shooting any other type of officer. I say if police dog gets shot, you defend him like you would any other officer. You shoot at cops, then expect them to return fire.

    RIP Aulf.

watching the news this morning....of course, everyone is protesting the shooting (go figure). It's really quite simple....

I don't care if the dude was white, black, purple, pink, chartreuse...who gives a F$ck! The man was 19 years old...had an illegal firearm in his posession, open fired on a police officer...killed said police officer. Police officer's partner returns fire and kills 19 year old who had the illegal firearm, and killed his fellow officer. Some people, and their friends and families need a serious bitch slapping to knock the proverbial sense into them or the the bullshit out of them!

    This is utterly pathetic.

I would have expected the protesting bullshit in NY or philly, but not pittsburgh.

Sad to see the dog not make it. It's the same as shooting a police officer.

Why did a 19 year old kid have a gun in the first place?

    Anywho, RIP to the dog.

I like how the kid's parents are saying that it "could have been handled better". Yes it would have if you would have raised your child better. The kid not only got himself killed, he killed the K9 unit, and now the poor officer has to live with this. The parents should be ashamed and hiding under a rock not on TV pointing fingers. If I did this my mother would still be slapping the crap out of my dead body while yelling "I raised you better than that!"

Only in America, in most every other country that POS would still be laying there with flys eating his eyeballs. Too many lawyers and bleeding heart sissys in this country, we need to divide it in half and send them packing.

don't you know the kids a victim because of his race? i am sure the parents feel they have not done anything wrong in rasing the fine young man but the sad part is he was most likely they way he was because of how he was raised i.e. no supervison etc. and i am sure the parents will try and sue the hell out of the city of pittsburgh, even though the son illegally possessed a firearm in the first place and pulled it out when a police officer told him to stop. i am sure if you check the prior criminal history he is a convicted felon as well.

worthless POS got exactly what he deserved and to boot the gun he killed the dog with was reported stolen.
my condolences to the K9 and the officer.....

and yes the K9 is considered an officer.

I agree, it could have been handled better, shoot him first before he shoots the police dog. Was he only 19? and if so YOUR BREAKING THE LAW AS IT IS BY POSESING A HANDGUN AND A STOLEN ONE TO BOOT, the POS got what he deserved.

Amen, brother. I was going to say that it was a stolen gun. Reported stolen 2 years ago. We'll give them $28 million, they'll be O.K. Know what I mean?

I heard this kid shot someone when he was 15. He should have been locked up then. The parents will just scream racist and collect a big paycheck from the city. Its as bad as when that city cop was getting drug down the road and shot the driver. They actually investigated the officers conduct.
