    she's all clean now Jason

Jason ( 89vert ) was nice enough to stop by my house today to drop off some keys and misc parts for the 90 SC he sold me in February. Thanks Jason! Anyway, the SC was outside ( my garage is full right now with our '66s and Dad's '57 TBird ), and it hadn't been washed in a few weeks, so it looked pretty bad. I felt so bad :o about him seeing it so dirty that after he left I gave her a bath. So here you go Jason - she's all cleaned up!!

Thanks guys. I can't take credit for the plate - I got it from Jason. Of course, I had to provide a bone marrow sample, a hen's tooth, and a four-leaf clover to the PA DMV to actually keep the plate...

It's a neat car. The independent rear really gives it a smooth ride. Gas mileage is ok - in the upper teens for my 6 mile commute to work - so that's not bad. I'm sure I could do a lot better on a trip, as the tach is around 2k at 75mph. She needs a little work done before inspection in August, but nothing major. The other day I was pleasantly surprised to find that the A/C blows REALLY cold! SWEET!!!!!

Don't worry Jason - you will be the first to know in a few years when I finally get my '05+ GT 5-speed and decide to sell the SC!

Troll - nice memory! I'll do my best to make those Metros miss - but if it happens again like it did last time I'll be screwed again! Seriously, if it does happen again, I want it to be another Metro. I think I'd still be in physical therapy if the old fart was driving an Expedition or something like that...

John and Danny - don't jinx me on the repairs! :D I hope I'll be ok - since 8/2006, the tranny was rebuilt ( shifts really nice and firm ), the head gaskets were done, the ABS computer and master cylinder/accumulator assembly were replaced, and a lot of little stuff. It runs like a top and rides really smooth ( and firm - with the adj damper switch turned on ).

Thanks again guys for the compliments. See yinz guyz around.

Which reminds me, I still have a lower intake manifold laying around for one of these. If you're interested in one to play with porting or whatever let me know. I have a set of heads too, but they're paid for and waiting to be picked up.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Thanks Dan - but I'm hoping to not have to do much work on the SC. In the rare event that I have some free time ( usually after 10pm when the rest of the house is asleep ), I try to work on our '66 Mustangs. I just want to drive the SC to/from work and wash it! No more projects!! (Except for finishing up Dad's '57 TBird...)
