Me and the kid just put a manual rack in his 87 gt.After we found the rod ends from the kit were to short we used the old ones. Now the problem is the belt size and routing with no ac,smog or ps what do we do for water pump and belt tensioner??

had it figured out when I had my notch (way back when) never did it though (sold it to mustang50lx before I got a chance) there was a feature car in MM&FF that had it done that I was using for insperation if you do a search on there you might get lucky. hope that helps
Use the March A/c / Powersteering delete kit. It relocates the tensioner over to where the a/c pump used to sit.

If ya wait long enough, you can copy my setup.;)
found a fix on the corral.use the a/c delete kit I already have get an idler pulley from parts store and a bolt and nut from hardware store, some steel conduit for a spacer and it's good to go..
I have a spare pulley or two. It'll only cost you your BLESSING.:D
You can also take apart the tensioner and reverse it so it works the oposite way or get a reverse water pump, but I will be using the ac eliminator kit on mine.
