    Trickflow stage 2 cam

    Anyone ever run a Trickflow stage 2 cam? If so what is your thoughts on it as I am considering one.

    i am running with with my 306 but im pretty sure its too big with a stock shortblock. anyone correct me if im wrong. but as for performance, i really like it.

    I seen posts on another sight or two when i did a goggle about it. Some where running it some weren't. Mine will have a top end on it. I'll just have to check piston clearance.

    Stage 2 is a big cam. You will for sure have to check piston clearance.

    My buddy runs one in his blown '93 Cobra---stock shortblock with TFS TW heads.
    Good cam but what are you using it with? Combination is more important.

    X2, better make sure the combo is worthy... I have seen the trick flow stage 1 cams make around 350 NA...with a good combo..

    70mm tb
    cobra intake
    headers and exhaust
    4.10 gears
    c&l mass air kit
    24# injectors

    stage 2 here. it has nothing below 2k, but pulls hards after that. idle is ok for the most part.

    I had a Stage 2 in my NA 347. It wasn't a great cam for a 347.
