    Help Me On Tires Please

Hey Guys I Just Bought A Set Of 17 X 10.5" Rear Rims For My 03' Cobra And Went To Get The Mickey Tompson Et Street Drag Radials And I Can't Find Them Anyyyyyywhere, Called Everywhere And Everyone Said That The Earliest That They Can Get Them Is August, Well I Neeed To Race Now And I Was Wondering If You Guys Can Point Me In The Right Direction In Getting A Good Set Of Radials That Are Just As Good Of Better Than The Mt's. I Know Alot Of Companies Don't Even Make The Radials To Fit Onto The 10.5" Rims. Pleaaase Some One Helppp Me I'm In Tire Denial Hahaha. Thanx Guys

I think my buddy GMKILLR runs a Hoosier radial tire on his street rims. They are pretty wide and 17". They felt pretty soft. Might not be quite as good as the M/T but maybe close. You can always just try to get a set of regualr ET Streets. They are still DOT approved and even better than the drag radial. If no luck on any of those then youll need to look at the BFG drag radial and then lastly the Nitto drag radial.

I was wrong. They are not Hoosier. They are made by M&H.

I heard they hook well, but they're even worse than the MT's in the rain. They basically just have two straight grooves for "tread"

Agreed. They will hook like heck but if you get caught in the rain you better pull over and park it.

I will be getting my hands on two of the first sets of the 315/35/17 M/T ET Streets that will be released. I am told the first week of June. If you can wait till then I am sure I can get an other 2 for you.

I can go into a long story behind these tires and why no one can get them but basically it is an OOPS on M/T's part.
