I hate my neon

On the way back from lunch, I hear a small sound and then everything electrical dies.

Open the hood and there is a funky electrical smell. a ground wire hooked to the shock tower is just kinda "there" with the insulation all messed up.

The car did manage to start after that but was acting VERY funny and indicators were going crazy.

Wound up having ot have it towed around the corner because where my work is, it will get towed if I leave it overnight and try to work on it (especially over a weekend, if its not stolen).

Anyone want to buy a neon?

****ing battery holddown from when it was in an accident failed because the bastards never replaced it (even though they billed it as such) so the pos of the battery hit the ground and shorted out a ground wire and everything went nuts.

I could have saved the bill and fixed it myself, but given where my car was I didnt trust it to be there the next day when I came with a new ground wire.

Ahh gotta love car's Aye? I deal with butchered up wireing on a daily basis it seems. The worst part is the butchering is done by company employee's.

Should of took it back to them and showed them. They will have to fix it. If they don't, call your insurance agent and he will get them to pay for it. Insurance fraud on there part...
