Just Ordered My Abaco Mass Air Meter....

I just got off the phone w/rick @ afm, my new abaco mass air meter is on the way for my turbo fox!! I went with the 97 mm draw through. These meters look neat as hell, I'll let you know how it works after I get it on.

Although I no longer have a MAF sensor, please be sure to keep me updated. If they live up to their hype, they will quickly take the entire market.

Will do, he said they can't get enough shipped in, mine will be shipped out after they get the new batch in next week.

Your call obviously, but why did you go draw through with the turbo set-up? We are setting up the 2.3 stuff as blow through, the signal is so much cleaner, response is quick, and you can have small boost leaks and such and still have accurate readings. The new slot sensors are really sweet in blow through too. This also seems to be the direction a lot of the pro tuners are heading. Like i said, just curious if you had reasons for draw through, curiostiy as much as anything.

The turbo kit on the car is an older style cartech, it is set up draw thru, just gonna keep it that way. It was having surge probs and stalling when revs dropped off with the regular pro m bullet, im hoping this meter clears the probs.

It will be interesting to see if that meter cures these problems. Please do keep us posted. Thanks

Took it out today for the first spin and did not stall once! It did get minor surge once but recovered quickly.....Bob I think your right about the draw thru vs blow thru, but as long as it runs like this I'm happy.
