    help

I have my wheel selection picked out I have which back spacing and offset I need, but I spoke with someone at summit's tech department and he said that he wasn't sure if an 18 x 10 would fit with the suspension. He said that up to a 93 it would be a problem but wasn't sure when the swiched body styles if the clearance would be an issue. any one have trouble/ need to any mods to fit and 18x10 in the wheel well for a 94 cobra???

you should be fine.. I have seen many people with 18s on lowered cars and from you pics it looks like you still got stock springs.

If you have a solid 8.8 like the GT's, then you should be good. My car has 18X10 wheels on back, and they don't even touch the quad shocks; no spacers either.

You'll be fine as long as your back spacing is no more than 6.9" max. Around 6.75" would be better though. If you do have a clearance issue, its more than likely going to be with the quad shock and luckily they are a 50/50 design shock so that means you can flip it over and gain approx. 1/4-1/2" of clearance without effecting the way it works.

That's perfect for a 10" wheel. You shouldn't have any clearance issues with the inner or outer fender well.

General rule of thumb is the MAX wheel width you can run on a 94-98 is 11", the MAX BS is 7", the MAX distance from the wheel to axle surface to the outer edge of the wheel is 4" MAXIMUM. If you stay under all of these you should be OK. The less you are on any of the values the better off you are for avoiding clearance issues. I'm running a 17X10.5 with 6.75" BS and I have no clearance issues with anything, including the inner and out fender, and the quad shock.
