Caster / camber plates installation help...

How hard is it to install cc plates and a better question: where do you set the adjustment for the ride to the alignment shop?

When I took the isos out of my c-springs, it looks like I got about a 1.5" drop in the front and I can see the negative camber with my naked eye.

I don't want to take my car in for an alignment and have them tell me they can't do it. Then put the cc plates on and pay for another alignment.

So, I'm probably just going to slap a set on there anyway.

Installation is actually quite easy, put the car on jack stands, remove the wheels and use a floor jack on the lower control arm to compress the spring slightly and remove the strut bolt. Drill out the rivets holding the stockers in place and install the new ones. I installed the Steeda 3 bolt plates on my 95. There are different spacers that are installed on top of the strut and plate and how these are installed is dependent on how much the car is lowered, whether the strut is stock length or shorter/longer. The instructions with the Steeda's were very good and easy to follow. They even included different alignment specs for street, autocross, drag, etc. hope this helps
