what to look for when buying a t5

Im going to be buying a t5 for my 97. its out of a 2004. I wanted to know what I should look for when I go to pick it up so I know im not getting ripped off or anything. thanks for your help.

I don't think they put t5s in 04s. It should be a t45.

I believe the V6 cars still used the T-5 in 04 but I could be wrong. Check for a speedometer gear provision, that could be one problem.

yes the 04 v6 did use a t5. its going into a v6! ya i have the whole speedo thing figured out already. i didnt know if there was a tag to look at or anything else ya kno?

HAHAHAH Yes. Dont settle for the Tremec T-5's either. They are just as bad.
