I'm assuming so cause he cut his stock exhaust off after the cats.

I'm a big fan of pypes products. I know that the violator mufflers sound pretty good.

If you didn't hack your stock cat-back all to bits, you could probably buy 2 brand new Flowmaster or Magnaflow mufflers and have somebody weld them in ALL FOR JUST UNDER $200.

Just and idea here and I might be way off on this... somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think your problem is a lack of back pressure. If you totally removed the cat-back section of your exhaust, then your rear O2 sensors are hella close to the end of your custom exhaust. The front O2 sensors check the exhaust before the cats and the rears check it after the cats to make sure they're doing something. Your rears might be getting a big whiff of fresh air and thinking your cats are cleaning up your exhaust WAY too much creating a lean condition.

Then, the computer would probably pull lots of timing and add lots of fuel. You said it falls flat at 4,500. Does it smell like it's running really rich and is it using obscene amounts of fuel?

Bolt the stock pieces back on there if you can and see if this clears your problem up.

You'll have to disconnect your negative battery cable or run your car through 3 driving-cycles to reset the computer.

Well, I just tryed doing this, but due to the fact that the bolts are so rusty I cant even remove them to use new bolts.

I dont think its running really rich, and its not using that much fuel.
