    Senior Project

In school we have to do a Senior Project as part of our graduation requirement. They say it has to be a "Learning Stretch" so i want to do something with my car. Does anyone have any ideas? And since its for school do you think any shops would give me a break as far as parts go?

Do you have to do a project or a written project? I had to do a written project about two years ago and did it on the history or corvettes. Maybe you could do history on mustangs if its a written

haha that would work, but we have to do a project. Some of the kids do dumb stuff like build bird houses but i wanted to do something fun. I thought about building an engine, but the only thing that hurts there is money. How much would that be, and i have till this time next year to get it done.

build a motor is a good idea, but it will cost you....

conversely, you could tear a motor down.... Find one that blew up for one reason or another, and do a video on tearing down the engine and diagnosing what exactly happened - then giving reasons that this could have happened.... Remember, knowing how to properly tear something apart is about as important as knowing how to put it back together.... You save yourself a lot of money and time (in the long run) if you take something apart the right way.... Most of these repair manuals are all about showing how to take something apart - then usually tell you to just reverse your steps to put it back together....

What about organizing a car show? Would that be considered a 'project'? You could get sponsors for that also, from the local speed shops, parts stores, etc., for goodie bags and see if you can get a trophy place to donate a couple trophies.

I'd think it could be a project to do all that. You could document how you organized it and of course take pics of all the attendees as the final product.

    Good luck
