    Website make over.

Im thinking the site could use a make over, new color scheme and a new banner. Anyone have any ideas?

for a banner, maybe a montage of mustangs.

for color scheme, i would range the red to (ford) blue.

crash the whole thing. let's all start over with new names again.

I always like the white on black like svtperformance.com. It looks great, but it is harder to read, IMO.

To be honest, I would leave it mostly alone. It loads fast, the colors are okay on the eyes, its pretty easy to navigate through, etc. A lot of the sites I frequent seem to slow down when the get a re-design. Too many graphics and patch codes running to make fancy stuff happen. Just my nickles worth.

Corrla is so damn slow due to the advertisers. Too much stuff running.

This site could go for a color change but its nice the way it is. You could do a section with something like car of the month and have it featured when you open the site up.

different colors for different topics could be cool

like Ford Blue and white for the Fox areas

maybe red and black for the 94-04

and pink and purple for Terminators and S197s

For the color scheme, I've always liked when forums have a black background and white type, sn95forums and svtperformance are this way and I always liked that scheme better, not sure why.

I would say for the banner, whenever we can get a huge group shot of a bunch of cars from the site, that would be pretty sweet.

Sites are not slow due to running ads, they are slow because the server is not optimized or powerful enough for the site traffic.

x2, but it doesn't hurt to optimize images for the net either. Plus when you put them both together, its a unbeatable combination.

Oh, I always thought it was because of the banners and such.

vbulletin version 3.7.0 allows members to create a user gallery in their profile. It is a nice feature.

Sounds good to me. Just make a full backup in case bad things happen. Keep it loading quick though. We don't need lots of fluff slowing us down.
