    copy and past your pic you want in there to the paint setup on your comp and down size it and then it should work

    after you downsize it in paint, click file, then "save as". change it from bitmap image to JPG or JPEG. should work fine after that.

    I shrunk it from 500 down to 400 pixels wide, maybe that will help

    Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 2.0 KB (whichever is smaller).
    Your file size is way too big.

    So, the way that the "signature picture" is set up through the User CP, you will be very hard pressed to actually get something to work due to the ridiculously small file size requirements.

    You need to upload your picture somewhere and then just link the file directly into your sig without using the Signature Picture feature... I'll show you in a minute.

    Ok, I'll do an example for Blizzard.

    First, you need to upload your picture somewhere. I would suggest Mustang Mods for something as small as a sig pic. Once you upload the picture, you will get the url for its location, for example:

    http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/998/1345/240965.jpg

    Next, to put it in your signature go to User CP --> Edit Signature.

    In the text box at the top, labeled "Edit Signature" insert the url you copied. Surround the url with image tags - [ img ] [ /img ] (remove the spaces)

    The image will then show up like so:

    --> Tony <--
