I found a black 98 rear cobra bumper for sale for $300. is that alot for a bumper???

Unfortunately for you those bumpers are highly sought after and there are no aftermarket ones made, so you are forced to pay what the seller wants for them. All in all, its still not bad concidering the cost of a new saleen or cervini's bumper as they are both >$500 now without shipping.

I do think that if you hold out you'll find one for a little less. I saw one on craigslist not too long ago for less than what this guys wants, I believe it was in the Baltimore MD area though. I always check the metro DC/northern VA/MD sections of craigslist for mustang parts as there is usually a lot of them on there.
