ok, one more question.. with my car pass inspection with it, and will I get hell from the cops for it?

Tint is not part of the state inspection, so if your shop says anything about it, its time to take your business elsewhere :)
I haven't been in enough situations to know. I worry about the fix-it ticket for my exhaust being too loud as well as all of the windows being tinted. I drive real inconspicuous like hahaha
ok well pretty much any kind of tint is illegal but from what i hear from alot of boroughs of police, they say as long as your not doing retarded stuff like burnouts etc they dont care, i know a few boroughs that are dicks for no reason(mount lebanon, usc). i have taillight tint as well as a pretty loud exhaust(MBH can vouch for it) and have never gotten pulled over for it, had the taillight tint for 4 or 5 months and the exhaust for about a year, cops have ridden behind me, in front of me, i have gone past cops sitting waiting for people and have never gotten stopped, maybe its luck
? who knows, but thats my little knowledge based on my own experience
Peters, Lebo, St. Clair... I'm sure they'll nail you for tint if they get the chance if they don't have anything better to do - which will most likely be the case. However, I drove past a cop in st clair with my front windshield tinted, no inspection stickers, and catless (read: loud!!) and he didn't pull out after me. A lot of cops are cool, some are not. I went out and had a few rounds with a good friend last night that is a certified police officer, he's a ton of fun. He's taken me under his wing a few times and given me some good guidance and advice when I needed it too. Absolutely great guy and family friend.
I've grown increasingly paranoid though. If I see a cop in any of my mirrors, I generally turn off into a store or side street asap. I only take the car out for cruising around, so I'm never in a rush.
