    No more Weld Wheels

I was coming back from Pinks last night (We left early.)and stopped at Summit to pick up some Draglite skinnys for the Mustang and got severe sticker shock from the price. $191.00 each. The salesman told me that Weld was done. He said when the current stock was gone there would be no more made. I bought them and checked Jegs website when I got home. They are only 129.99 at Jegs right now. Summit credited me the difference. If you want Weld wheels you should get them now. Summit will price match or just get them from Jegs.

x2 on that one, well i cant really say that because i have bullits on my car now.

its pretty much like anything in life, when something is a hit and something sells really well they take it off the market. for instance when kfc first came out with popcorn chicken, it was amazing and everyone wanted some then they took it off the market for like 2 years, then brought it back and it sux now. that seems like it has nothing to do with weld wheels but oh well i think the heat is getting to me a lil.

I agree, they look good on just about anything, and never seem to get old, is summit still going to sell their brand of weld knock offs?

Im don't agree with Summit. They have had a huge price jump on alot of things of late. Go to Jegs and can find same item far cheaper. They use to be pennies apart in pricing.

Last 2 times I called them the prices were way high. H-pipe $100 difference. Wheels $65.00 each difference. I guess I should start calling Jegs first. The thing that sucks about Jegs is they don't have the inventory Summit has.

I've been buying most of my stuff from Jeg's lately too. Summit shipping has been sketchy for me lately, sometimes comes next day, sometimes not. Jegs is always here the next day. Jeg's also seems happy to get my bussiness, Summit expects it.
