is that including the concrete slab??
Is the one pictured a two story? What dimentions are you wanting? The building shown would be fairly cheap, or a wood framed with siding. A block garage would be more expensive, but this is the way I would go. materials right now are really expensive, concretes well over $100 a yard, and steel is going to be more now too. I bet the one pictured over 15k after labor, with todays prices. Jmo.
Are you dreaming? The building alone would cost at least that much. Figure $12/SF min. for the steel building, around $5/SF for the concrete slab, $20/LF for the Footings, about $5/block for the masonry foundation walls and about $1500 a piece for the garage doors. Excavation and electrical costs would vary based on what your site looks like and how fancy you want to get.![]()
A typical 2'x1' footer with (3) #4 bars, excavated to frost line will run approx. $17 per lin foot.
8" block will cost approx $450 per 100 units = 89 square feet = $5.05/sq. ft
Floor slab with 4" gravel sub base, 4" concrete with 6x6 mesh will run about $ 6.50/ sq ft
So suppose you build a two story masonry structure, 25' x 40'
Footer = $2210
Masonry = $13,130 minus openings
Floor = $6500
Add in the cost of the floor and roof framing, columns and 8" beams are needed as the free span is too great for the floor above, roofing, doors, permits, engineering stamp, etc, etc. It all adds up pretty quick.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!![]()
