thinking about getting my windows tinted due to the stock tint peeling in the back window. I'm concerned that they will have trouble getting the tint into the rear quarter window. anyone on here ever had it done? any problems with the quarter window???
i tinted my windows myself and to tell u the truth the quarters arent hard to tint and came out looking great....turned out alot better than the front windows did haha
the quarter windows are a breeze...especially for a professional

Whats the legal tint in PA? One of my friends has an out of state car like mine ( his is NC and mine is VA) and he said that PA law says that if it was tinted out of state and brought into the state, which mine would be ( ;) ) that it was ok...is this true?

Since its registered in PA then they can def give you a ticket. I've been ticketed twice in the past 3 years and they didn't care it was tinted before i bought it.

Here is the response I got from asking a law section of another car forum. I was asking about tint enforcement when I was out of PA.
The law of the state you are driving in prevails. Through "full faith and credit" the state must accept your state's valid registration and license.

yeah, it might be from out-of -state... but didn't you say it was now registered and tagged in PA ?? follows PA law if it's film then just the same, you'll get shit for it.

at the top of the rear window the tint doesnt like to stick because of the little dots. when i got my windows tinted down XTREME the guy said cavaliers, mustangs, and something else have the dots on the back windows and they wont stick. i went to xtreme paid 185 for all my windows tinted 20%, and the back wouldnt stick and they put a vinyl piece(just like a front vinyl banner) on the back of my top window for free. and i havent had any problems ever since, no peeling, no bubbles, nothing.thinking about getting my windows tinted due to the stock tint peeling in the back window.
