    place your bets...

I'm probably going to be taking my hummer to the TnT tonight at prp....

What do you think its going to run?

Its an 06 H3 automatic, with a leveling kit (lift for the front), .125 gauge steel brush guard and 34's. I'm going to "launch" it the best I can. I might take the airbox cover off if I feel like really kickin it up a notch.

I weigh 195. I might be bringing a friend or two if they can get out of their boyfriend duties for the night.

SO... what do you think I'll run?
    60'?
    1/8th & mph?
    1/4 & mph?

    or will PRP close :o

Why not take the car in your sig that actually can get out of it's own way?

Never been down a 1/4 before, either as a passenger or, more importantly, as a driver. I'm still honing in my driving skills on that car, but I'm not all that consistent with it. I've launched it 2 times, and neither went well. So I'm going to get some more seat time in it before I take it. I'm getting the shifts down pretty well though, when I'm "on" I can click off gears like an automatic... just ask 97laserred

But essentially, I'm nervous about it, and I don't feel like I have enough experience in the cobra to justify it, so I'd be pretty disappointed in all likelihood. With the hummer I have absolutely no expectations, so anything that is 2 digits is good LMAO. I also know what the previous owner did in the 1/4, so I know what its capable of. (I told a local evo x owner it runs a 13.2, don't tell!)

    19.21? at what speed? a 3.5 sec 60' is reeks of a 26 in the 1/4 lol

    lol!

I bet that this is what I run, but we'll see.
    60' ....... 2.4
    et ........ 18.3
    mph....... 84

The car is slow as balls. 5000 lbs w/ 34" tires, 4 speed auto with overdrive, and the aerodynamics of a refrigerator. I hope I don't get kicked out for not having a cage!

    Are you coming tonight?

I'm thinking I should put as much air pressure in my tires as I can to cut down on the rolling resistance. Traction won't be an issue, as it can barely do donuts in 3 inches of snow.

God this is such a dumb idea hahaha

My old superduty would have put that hummer on the trailer. I should have thought about this and raced you in the bronco but, forgot about this tonite. You still should have took the red car. Practise makes perfection.

lmao I never bought it for its powertrain. I heart diesels though.

I thought about taking big red, but I would rather familiarize myself with it, plus none of my buddies seem to be able to escape their gfs tonight

wait ... whats that noise in the distance... the crack of a whip? oh, what a pity

From the looks of the cars in the staging lanes next to you, you would probably give them a good race!:D
