That sounds about right at a good track. I figure your car is quicker than a stock auto mach 1 (by how much, I don't know), but from my understanding, prp may be a different story. Let me know when you want to go & I'll head out with you. I had fun doing it tonight

i would be very happy with these numbers as well, pretty much anything in the 12s would make me happy.

    any tips for the track?

dont go to far past the staging lights....lol......it looks real gay unless you did it while doing a massive burnout.

make sure ya heat em up reallll good, with 4.10s and prps track i doubt youll hook.

i hook exceptionally well on the street with little to no spinning at all w/ the new nitto invos, but i know that the track is completely diffrent from what everyone tells me.

get a high stall converter - that should help out your times drastically....

Also, why did you get a forged motor? future plans for FI or nitrous? When you forged it, did you make it a high or low compression? That could make a big difference as well

i plan on getting tranny built very soon, and as for the forged motor, i had full bolt ons an then i had cams put in an i upgraded the valve springs and the one valve spring was defective an snapped inhalf when i took my car out one day an dropped a valve, messed up 2 pistons, an chipped a piece off of one of my heads. so while it was apart i just had it done the way i would have done it down the road anyways, but it just happened a little sooner. its high compression a little over 10-5-1.

thanks!!,an i know not to set my expectations high, but its nice to set your bar high an have confidence in yourself even though i might not get in the numbers i want due to the street tires.

lol the hummer is an inline 5, and next time I go I'm definitely bringin out big red. Lemme know about your schedule. I probably won't be able to go tonight since a good friend is turning 21 and he'd rather go to the bar than the track (can't say I blame him). Saturday we're all going out for his birthday and my girlfriend is coming to visit me from friday-sunday so I can't go this saturday. Like I said, just let me know
