5.0 Throttle body doesn't open all the way

I was working on my car (92 lx 50) and noticed when the gas pedal is pushed to the floor the throttle plate doesn't open all the way. Is this normal on these? The cable is not adjustable as far as I can see. I would have to grind the holes in the bracket to get it to open farther. Any ideas?

im not sure how the 5.0s work but on my throttle body there is a little pin that you can screw in an out to adjust the throttle.
