    bottom end ????

    well im getting ready to order a rotating assembly for my car but i was wondering what everyone else likes....i was thinkin of getting the stroker kit and if so what is the best one to get? or if i should just get a regular rotating assemby and do other stuff? just need some more opinions

    i got mahle forged pistons an rods an had my block bored .30 over an was very happy with them. i was told the stroker kits are not that great.

    Eagle makes real nice kits with plenty of options. Almost all engine builders now offer rotateing kits. Foxlake and chp are the two to come to mind for mod motors.

    If you are going for power then why not stroke it. Could always buy a shortblock. If you plan on adding a supercharger or turbo or nitrous you could go either way. It will really boil down to what you want to make of it power wise. No replacement for displacement as the classic saying goes.

    I went with stock displacement on my 00GT's new motor. I went with a new block, forged crank, Manley Pro-Billet I beam rods, and Manley Pistons. With my car being supercharged, I really don't need any more cubic inches.
