    Arrow Power Window Help !!!

2001 mustang GT: driver's side power window does not work. passenger side works from the driver's side switch and from the passenger side switch. power locks work and everything else works. when I push the button, you can hear an audible click, but no window movement.

The same fuse runs "power windows / power locks" I took it out and put it back in and it was fine.

    What the heck is wrong?

    Any help is appreciated.

edit: the window is DOWN right now if that makes any difference.

well, believe it or not... and I seen this on another unnamed stang site... I already had the door panel off, so I took the palm of my hand and beat on the metal area in front of where the motor is located while holding the button down. It worked. I've put it up and completely down a dozen times now and it seems fine.

    Been there, Done that!!

That happened to mine last year. Ford garage said its a common problem. You WILL need to replace the window motor. It may be a intermittent now, but it will eventually give out completely.
