Went with ViperEd to tune his car and Dyno it, took some pics. The Cobra was getting tested when we pulled in. Young kid picked it up for $10k it already had some minimal boltons, made 16#s of boost produced 395+ horsepower and it had a mind boggling 170K miles on it. Ed said the interior was nice but the front and rear of the body was rough. I'll let Ed give his dyno numbers.

There were 2 RX7s that didn't make that shot, and at least 4 more outside. They were in all states of disassembly and condition.

No. It was tuned at Auto Performance tuning in Columbus by Don LaSota.
First pull made a little more power than Wick's car, 398 RWHP / 399 RWTQ
at 2,900 RPM!!!Run was stopped at 3,00 RPM.
Final numbers came in at 438 / 435 @ 9 PSI and 18 degree of timing in the tune. The coolant sensor is bad and was making the car think it was running at 280 degree, so it was pulling even more timing out.
Just going to change the sensor and leave the boost at 9 PSI and consider it done. Turbo builds full boost at 2,700 RPM so it's sure to be a fun street car. Guess the price of the gas will be a bargain compared to what this thing will go through in tires.
Oh, and Troll, I missed you too fuc&er, you'll have to teach me how to destroy this thing around a corner some day!

I'll have to admit I was tempted to just turn the boost up to around 18 psi to see what it would do. My guess is split the lifter valley like a whore's legs on a Friday night.
Too bad you couldn't make any full pulls. Don Lasota is a great guy to work with though.
