Lookin for a new truck

Well after 180,000 miles the gears in the rangers tranny went. I've started looking into a used one and fixing it but it doesnt seem worth it at this point. im still not 100% sure yet but i think its time to move on.

I started looking into 06 and up F-150's or Ranger if it's what I want and the deal is right. I'm looking for opinions on prices and where to look. I've seen a few at dealerships and one or two in the paper, just lookin for the best deal.

Definately true, I was looking at trucks for about two months before I bought mine on memorial day. I still see the same trucks I was looking at two months ago sitting on the dealer lots. The salesman told my friend he was surprised when I came in to look at the V8 truck, said it was one of the very few he's sold in the last couple months. Unfortunately, the F-150's I looked at were all higher mileage and price. I ended up going to the darkside and buying an 07 silverado classic with 1900 miles.

Where'd you end up getting it at? I haven't even seen this thing yet.

Actually im in the market now for a newer truck....also...and im trying to get rid of my 97F-150 b4 hand becuz trade-ins are not worth JACK!!! but ne how....BLUE KNOB AUTO SALES in duncansville pa is the best place to get a car! hands down no one in 100mile radius can touch their prices! www.blueknobauto.com is there website.
Just for example the truck im looking at is an 06 F-150 ext. cab FX4 with 20in rims and the 5.4l motor. 30,000miles and has all the bells and whistles minus a moon roof for $16995. very good deal. the markets will change by election time so those who hang in there will be on top as far as buying a truck and those who dont will have wished they got on the boat then.
