Just wondering if anyone had an aftermarket pump go bad on them and if so how did it go. All @ once or did it just get weaker and weaker? I am replacing the one in my fox because the car was running super lean. I pulled it out of the tank and put 12 volts to it and you can hear a major difference in pump speed to the new one. I'm lucky I didnt hurt this motor...
I just replaced the fuel pump on my 91LX. It must have been going out slowly. It caused the car at first just to break up on the top end, and then after I started to get on it. Lucky for me one day I happened to look at the fuel pressure gauge and noticed it was dropping off and going to almost 0psi.

Thanks for the reply! I took some video of the pump I took out, and a good 255lph, both were hooked to 12 volts. What a difference! The old pump barely spins when you plug either side of it, the good pump still spins free if you plug either side. I looked up the part # for the walbro I took out it was GSS242, which is a 190 Lph, I would want a 255lph in there anyway.
