I bought this car with intentions of using it for a project. Since that time my wife has had to have some surgery and will be off work for a while. Not only do I not have the time or space to mess with, but I don’t really have the funds at this time. The car is a 1989 Mustang 4cyl notchback. The car only runs on 3cyls at this time. It needs a new cam and followers. When I bought the car I was told the engine in it was replaced a few years ago. It is suppose to be a reman. engine with about 35,000 miles on it. I drove the car home about 8 miles. Unless you are local I would suggest hauling the car home. The body needs some work and paint but is in overall solid shape. I began with sanding down all the surface rust areas along the bottom to see what I had to work with. Most of it was just surface rust. Only two bad spots I found that need patched are on the d.s. rear quarter(worst spot) and around the license plate light on the deck lid.
When I found out the wife was going to have surgery I ended up putting some por15 over the spots I had sanded down to keep them from rusting back. I knew I wouldn’t be having any time to continue on it at this time. The interior in the car is really good shape. Like I said it is a project car and it needs work. Asking $650 OBO.
