6/21 Clarion Flashlight drag results

Well i finally got to race the 94' GT this year after the latest round of mods this past winter. Mind you it was only the flashlight drags but i needed some seat time to see where the car is.

Traction = 0 on all runs. I was in and out of the throttle and spent some time sideways.

Race/Result
1. VW jetta. Warm up run. W by alot
2. Shelby GT 500 w/ 520 RWHP W by a couple cars or so
3. LS1 camaro w/ ported heads, cam, 100 shot W by a few cars
4. 2008 Z06 Vette W by a good bit
5. C5 Vette w/ intercooled procharger W by a few cars
6. 71' Chevelle w/ vortech 14psi and 150 shot W by a car
7. Lexus IS 300 w/ 17 psi Turbo 465 RWHP W by a few cars

All in all i am VERY pleased with the car. Have to thank Rodeheaver for doing the alot of work, Wolfpack Speed for doing alot of work, and Predator Performance for helping with a fuel leak at the track. The C5 procharged vette wont he street contender and the Lexus won the top tuner. I didnt get picked for any finals but oh well. Undefeated so i cant complain and the car is still in one piece.

I raced him at Zele, If I hooked and could get the 2-3 shift right I'd win if not he'd win.

The guy is full of shit too lol, the first time we raced I was expecting an easy win and when we took of I was like WTF. I couldn't get him to pop the hood and he kept telling me it was stock. Later on he had all his vett buddies around the car and the hood pops up so I go over and point and ask whats that... if it's stock and he said "that's my chrome air cleaner"

Haha. I saw the car race before i ran it and it looked strong. Then it drove by and i heard a very faint blower whine. That procharger is pretty quiet. Guy said it has run 11s, now i dont know if he was bsing me or not but it was quick.

I hope that continues too. Unfortunally it may not make a 1/4 mile pass this year due to tranny issues.
