I have a 13 second Harley and I'm much happier cruising around on it at this point in my life. I've had a few 600s and a 900 in the past. Anybody with a little bit of cash can go buy the "fastest" production bike made.

I think sonofabish's point is they don't handle for shit. Nobody said it wasn't the fastest thing on earth. I'll take 20 less horsepower and 100 less pounds anyday.

Don't get all butt hurt because he posted some magazine BS times. Those are professional riders with the front end strapped down, dragging the shit out of the clutch on a track with perfect conditions, ringing it out for two straight days to get the absolute best number.

Brian ain't no magazine racer.He doesn't need to post up how fast his bike is in a magazine he gets it done at the track.I'm sure he wouldn't mind a visit from the R1 though even on the street

a street with turns? these are two different animals. you're comparing apples and oranges. personally, when I had sportbikes, I had more fun on a twisty mountain road. If the most powerful, fastest thing in the world is what makes you happy, then so be it.

there was no argument from Bish or me about the zx12 or 14 being fast. I just said the rider makes a big diffence in a bike race and bish said he likes his R1.

the lead you had on him was bout the same my buddy had on his zx14 had on that busa, that guy also came back and bullshited for awhile. i do think that driver mod helps in racing though on a bike or car.

I LOVE the black busa that runs up prp, i think that bike is sick as hell but i would rather have a bike that i can rip through turns on a windy road, cause i dont have the balls to run those kind of traps on two wheels,

Its just everyones opinion. I know bish and he rather be on a windy road rather than go straight cause thats what the busa and zx 14 were made for....

edit: i deleted my whole post b/c as Troll as shown, its pointless arguing with someone so thick headed - sit on here and talk about how you have the fastest bike ever made - you proved my point for me! I never said my R1 was faster in a straight line than the ZX-14 ... but on a windy mountain road, you would be long gone out of my mirrors in the first 2 miles... I guess we bought our motorcycles for 2 different reasons ... you bought yours to spank everyone else in a straight line - i bought mine to drag the pegs around country roads, and still be able to scream in any situation... and Troll - well, he bought his so he could fart around i suppose
