    What's first?

    Howdy

Brakes, trans, rear are beasts... the suspension is capable.

The engine has a poopy b cam, pulleys, smog delete, ac delete, 130 amp alternator, and BBK 1 3/4" longtubes with complementing exhaust...

How should I start attacking the engine?

Electric fan/rad set up first? Intake equipment first? I would just slap an HCI on but I want the minor stuff to not be limiting it.

As far as letter cams go the B cam isn't too bad. I'd say if your plans arent something huge for the car I'd keep it and go with better heads and intake.

you already have a 130 amp alt so i say first go for an electric fan. you can get a taurus fan for $40 and they move a ton of air compared to the stock fan.

Then i would go with a K&N panel filter (no need for a cold air intake). Depending on how much you wanna spend, get some heads then intake and throttle body. Then do the cam AFTER you pick your heads and intake so you can pick the right one

if your on a budget get a set of P heads and cobra intake/throttle body. if you got some money to spend get TFS or AFR 165 heads and a holley systemax or TFS intake and a bigger throttle body and mass air meter

This short block is getting blown not too far in the future.

I'm considering running a cone filter to reduce some of the restriction.

My engine bay temps are very low. The longtubes are wrapped in insulation. After a healthy beating the upper intake plenum is barely warm. No spacer.

Whatever you do, do not buy twisted wedge heads. They suck big time. Even the NMRA knows they are poop. They add weight to vehicles when they use those heads. Plus you cannot compare runner volume against other "street" heads. Cause it's all about cross section and if you don't know that, there is a good chance you'll end up on death row kickin' it with the homies for your ignorance,(not on this site though) Hell, some even say they are a race head. I'm saying with no need for custom headers, they sound real racey to me. In addition, it's all in the combo just ask some of them fellows over on the corral who are the omnipotent ones. And if you don't buy a custom cam it won't run for shit. Cause they are made from the finest materials known to man and most custom cam guys have patents on lobe designs and they parted the red sea collectively and Moses just watched them do it. And long-runner efi intake manifolds are something like a restrictor plate and hydraulic roller cams won't rev past 6,000 rpm cause a magazine stated they wouldn't.....

wtf?? i can't believe you wasted time in your life to type that whole paragraph. He was asking for suggestions for his engine, not stories of how people give you shit on another website about your own particular combo
