    Dirt/unpaved roads in south hills?

Weird question. Looking for a few long dirt/unpaved legal roads to drive on, preferably south hills. Not for off-roading or super aggressive stuff. Literally just want to exercise my transfer case and 4x4 bits every now and then, bounce my kids around a bit. Any good ideas?

Hah, that's actually exactly where we went today! It was perfect. Not too crazy, just rolled around in 4WD high, occasionally in 4WD low, exercised the locking diff, and did a bunch of hiking. That's a great park and really beautiful and quiet area. Lucky to have such a gem nearby.

Always an adventure to head to Ligoner. You can head up through Linn run up over the summit and out to 30. This time of year a mixed bag of risk as it’s not maintained above the park. Several fire roads you can go out and back on too

Awesome, will check this out! Been wanting to get out that way and do some fishing too.
