Four Roses Single Barrel is my current favorite bourbon, but hard to find outside of Kentucky. Jim Beam Devil's Cut bourbon is my normal middle shelf go-to.
    I drink it room-temperature straight.

I used to drink scotch but decided for the price I like bourbon better. A good quality scotch cost a lot more than an equivalently good bourbon, though if anyone offered I wouldn't turn down a sip of 15+ year Glenlivit or Glenfiddich.

I like whiskey and bourbon, but I can't get into Scotch. I've tried good ones and bad ones and they all taste like crap to me so I just don't bother anymore.

I'd rather have a tall glass of Mila Kunis than Devil's Cut...

On out way to Bowling Green this fall, we stopped at Jim Beam, 4 Roses, and Makers Mark. Next year we are going to change our trip down there so we have a full day to do the Bourbon trail tour. On the tour (and tastings) Makers Mark was my favorite. I really like the Makers Mark 46.

the last few years working out of China, scotch became a real treat (over Chinese hootch and weak beer). I have a few friends over there really into it, and it became a Sunday deal to enjoy a good scotch. My favorite brand was Macallen, both the 12 and 18 are very nice, the 25 is just exceptional. It spoiled me (and is stupid expensive).

Bourbon Trail is a great weekend trip.

Did Buffalo, Woodford, 4Roses and Wild Turkey last year.

    Was fantastic.

I might have to try that devils cut, it is relatively inexpensive right ?
I haven't tried too much as far as whiskey though. I enjoy jd on occasion and am a big fan of Jameson. I'd usually rather have a good beer though.

I've seen it as low as $19 in Kentucky and as high as $29 here in WV.

I just stopped by the Giant Eagle at the University town center in Morgantown, WV and they have Four Roses Single Barrel!
